Film screening and informal discussion which explores feminism and women’s lives in Japan and Scotland hosted by independent curator Susan Christie and artist/film-maker Emma Dove.
Three 5 min films by Christie + Dove will be screened as part of an ongoing project – Ittarikitari – which means to+fro in Japanese.
The films feature the voices of Japanese and Scottish women artists, writers, scientists and students. They provide rich material with thoughtful contributions from women across 5 generations and touch on themes of motherhood, bodies, inspiring older women and bio-ethics.
